This is my second draft for the Destroy the Icon project 2. This draft has a Pop Art feel to it with the 2 by 2 set up and the bold colors that are inspired by the painting inserted. I based the color scheme of warm reds and yellows with the bright greens and blues all inspired by this piece. I used various filters, blending modes, and brushes to make my it unique to my liking. I used Mandela, paint drips, and butterfly brushes to tie back into the full flower crown seen in the image and the butterflies floating about, along with the idea of Frida being the great painter she was. Lastly, in this piece I incorporated the scans of the leaves I found along with the flowers.
